Yocahu Canada uses a Google Forms contact form for general questions, article feedback, corrections, privacy questions, and other inquiries.

The Contact form is embedded through Google Forms and has been tested successfully, including rendering, submission, delivery of a test response, and the link from the Contact Page to this Privacy Policy.

The Contact form may request your name, email address, subject, and message. File uploads are not part of the approved launch form, and newsletter or marketing opt-in is not included.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is specifically requested and necessary for your inquiry.

Information submitted through the Contact form is also subject to Google's own privacy practices because the form is provided through Google Forms.

2. Analytics

Yocahu Canada uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site.

GA4 may collect technical and usage information such as browser and device information, pages viewed, interactions with the site, referring or navigation information, approximate location derived from technical signals, and other analytics data generated through use of the site.

GA4 is used for site measurement and improvement. It is not a public user account system and is not intended to identify readers by name through normal site browsing.

Yocahu Canada uses the Google Consent Management Platform (Google CMP), configured through Google AdSense Privacy & messaging, for applicable cookie and consent messaging.

The Google CMP is live and verified on the site. Where applicable, visitors can use the consent message to make available choices about non-essential cookies and supported technologies.

You may also use your browser settings to block, limit, or delete cookies. Doing so may affect how some site features or third-party services operate.

4. Consent Management Platform (CMP)

Yocahu Canada uses the Google Consent Management Platform (Google CMP), configured through Google AdSense Privacy & messaging.

Google AdSense provides the CMP capability, and the site's Privacy & messaging configuration can display applicable consent messages to visitors.

The Google CMP may display cookie and consent notices, present available consent choices, communicate supported consent choices to Google services and other supported technologies, and allow visitors to manage or withdraw consent where the configured implementation provides that option.

The Google CMP consent message has been confirmed live and working on Yocahu Canada.

5. Advertising

Google AdSense is an approved potential future advertising provider for Yocahu Canada.

AdSense advertising is deferred from the current launch.

At the time of this policy, ads are not live. Before advertising is activated in the future, Yocahu Canada should review this Privacy Policy and the site's consent configuration so the published policy accurately reflects the advertising technology then in use.

6. Lead forms, downloads, and marketing collection

Lead-generation and download forms are deferred from the current launch.

The current launch does not include lead-capture forms, gated downloads, marketing-newsletter signup, phone-number collection, address collection, or file-upload collection.

If any of these features are introduced later, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or when they become active.

7. Embedded media and third-party content

YouTube or other video embeds are not required for the current launch scope.

If Yocahu Canada later embeds video, maps, social-media content, or other third-party services, those services may collect information according to their own privacy practices. This policy should be updated to describe the actual embedded services that are active.

8. Comments, accounts, and newsletters

The current launch does not provide public blog comments, user accounts or login, or a site newsletter.

If those features are introduced later, the site's privacy disclosures should be updated to reflect the information they collect and how that information is used.

9. Heatmaps and session recording

Heatmap and session-recording tools are not part of the current launch configuration.

The current Project sources do not establish a single fixed retention period for all information collected through the site.

Yocahu Canada uses established third-party platforms for core site, analytics, consent, and Contact-form functionality.

The current Project does not establish Yocahu Canada as a child-directed service.

The site is intended as a general consumer information publication. It does not provide user accounts, comments, or marketing signup at launch.
